"I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people" Vincent Van Gogh
I live and have my studio in small, friendly, historic Niwot, CO.
Jane Leland Langdon has been a resident of Colorado for almost 5 decades where she has chronicled idyllic scenes of rural Boulder County in a warm and whimsical style which is well recognized by local residents. "A Small Town is Like a Big Family" sold hundreds of prints and became a best seller. Her print, "The Auctioneer," sold to auctioneers all across the country. Jane has done commercial illustration for both banks and professional offices. Her watercolors hang in public and municipal offices throughout Boulder County. She has created logos for events both large and small, created website art and completed loads of commissions.
I was born in Dayton, Ohio. It was my mother, Harriet Leland, a portrait painter, who inspired my lifelong love of art. I subsequently earned a degree in Fine Arts and have studied with several well-respected artists.
I love to paint!
